Green Pepper and Tomato Pasta
Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta (your choice)
- 1 green bell pepper (sliced)
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Directions
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
- In a separate pan, heat the olive oil and sauté the minced garlic and sliced green bell peppers until they start to soften.
- Add the can of diced tomatoes, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for a few minutes.
- Serve the green pepper and tomato sauce over the cooked pasta. Top with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
