Green Pepper and Tomato Pasta

  • 8 oz pasta (your choice)
  • 1 green bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
  2. In a separate pan, heat the olive oil and sauté the minced garlic and sliced green bell peppers until they start to soften.
  3. Add the can of diced tomatoes, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for a few minutes.
  4. Serve the green pepper and tomato sauce over the cooked pasta. Top with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
