Legacy Circle

Created in honor of an iconic change-maker and our founder, Bob Randels.

As South Michigan Food Bank looks to the future, we know the importance of legacy donations (estates, wills and trusts) and the difference they can make when it comes to the breadth of our impact. Legacy donations can be a powerful component to meeting an increased need while dealing with rising costs of both food and fuel.

Including South Michigan Food Bank in your estate, will or trust allows you to make a substantial impact on the communities you care about, and has the potential to improve the lives of both existing families and future generations.

Our Estate Intention Letter can be located here.

Tour Our Facility

Feel free to stop in, we are here to support you and our community! We will also be hosting several open houses, complete with a tour of our facility, throughout 2024. Stay tuned for upcoming dates, we hope you will join us!

Expert Advisors Are Here To Help.

South Michigan Food Bank has partnered with local attorneys, many of whom are already supporters of our mission, to establish a strong Legacy Advisory Circle. This committee will provide you with direct access to industry experts, helping ensure that the process of planning your legacy is both an easy and enjoyable experience.

“People have a desire to love one another and share with one another. I’ve never backed off from using the word ‘love’ about what we do. It’s an invitation for people to love and to think about others. It’s the very notion of community”

Bob Randels, 1949 – 2021
