How I got to the Food Bank
I was looking for a job with more of a direct impact. I decided to join the National Guard team to serve at the food bank in my local community. Near the end of my service time, I was communicating with the volunteer team to continue to serve in a volunteer capacity and I learned of a permanent job opening. I applied for the open position and accepted the job offer within a week.
What I love about the Food Bank
I love the teamwork and connection of the staff. I also love the direct impact we provide to the community.
