Homemade Applesauce

Ingredients
  • 2 kg / 4.4 pounds apples
  • ½ cup / 120ml of water
  • 2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • pinch nutmeg or vanilla or mixed spice
Directions
  1. Choose your apples. You can use whatever apples you have on hand!
  2. Core and slice your apples into 8 slices.
  3. Add cinnamon and other spices, if using.
  4. Cook the apples with 1/2 cup water on medium heat for 20 minutes (lid on) until soft and mushy.
  5. Puree in a blender, food processor, or by hand to your favorite consistency.
