Kroger is a long-standing partner of South Michigan Food Bank, having supported the fight against hunger since 2002. Through monetary and food donations, Kroger has provided thousands of meals to members of our community every year. They are excited to announce their latest initiative with SMFB – the Great Michigan Milk Drive. Throughout the month of August, customers at any Kroger stores across the state can join the fight against hunger by rounding up their purchases at checkout to the nearest dollar or making a donation of their choice. Best of all, one hundred percent of the funds raised will remain local and go directly to Feeding America Food Bank partners, like South Michigan Food Bank, to provide fresh Michigan milk to families experiencing food insecurity.
