Creamy Chicken Spinach Pasta

Ingredients

  • 8 oz uncooked pasta
  • 2 chicken breast or 2 cans of chicken drained
  • 1 Tbsp butter and olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • ⅓ cup chicken broth or water
  • 5 oz spinach
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Boil water and cook the pasta as directed on the package.
  2. Cut the chicken into bite size pieces and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add butter and oil to a pan over medium-high heat then add the chicken and cook through.
  4. Remove the cooked chicken from the pan and add chicken broth, garlic, and Italian seasoning. Return to heat and simmer for a few minutes. Add the heavy cream while continuing to simmer for a few more minutes.
  5. Add the chicken and spinach and let cook for 5 minutes. Then add the drained pasta and parmesan.
