Strawberries can be enjoyed raw or used for cooking and baking. Add raw strawberries to smoothies, oatmeal, yogurt, salads, and more. Use strawberries for baking muffins, cobblers, pies, and more.
Seasonings
Strawberries pair well with cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar, honey, or maple syrup. Strawberries also pair well with some herbs such as thyme, basil, mint, and cilantro in certain recipes.
Storage & Preservation
Store your fresh strawberries in the fridge in the crisper drawer. Avoid washing and removing the stems until you are ready to use them to keep unwanted moisture away. To freeze strawberries, wash and dry them completely. Remove the stems. Spread them out in a single layer on a baking sheet. Once fully frozen, transfer them to a bag and keep frozen.
