Strawberry Jam

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs strawberries (remove stem)
  • 4 cups sugar
  • ¼ cup lemon juice

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mash the strawberries.
  2. In a sauce pan over low heat, add the mashed strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Keep stirring.
  3. Increase heat to high and bring to a boil, stirring often for about 10 minutes.
  4. Transfer jam to jars and refrigerate for 12-24 hours before using.
