Cherie Good

Board Member

Cherie currently serves as the Head of Corporate Giving at Dawn Foods, a role she began in July 2024. In this position, she leads global efforts to support nonprofit organizations through grantmaking, product donations, and employee volunteerism. Under her leadership, the Corporate Giving program is expanding its impact, with a focus on health/hunger, Education, and Community Vibrancy initiatives.

Cherie is a strong advocate for the “time, treasure, and talent” model, encouraging meaningful community involvement at every level. Her deep connection to hunger relief efforts began well before her current role. From 2014 to 2019, she led the Go Hungry for Hunger Project, which educated the Jackson community on the importance of investing in food banks. Her leadership earned her the Paul Harris Fellow Award during her time as a Jackson Rotarian (2017–2019). Since 2014, she has consistently organized teams to serve at a Jackson-area food pantry, demonstrating her long-standing commitment to hands-on service. Cherie also serves on the board of the Jackson Interfaith Shelter and continues to advocate for programs that uplift and sustain the most vulnerable in our communities.

“I’m honored to join the South Michigan Food Bank board. Fighting hunger has been a core part of my personal and professional journey, and I’m excited to support an organization making such a meaningful impact every day.”
