Health Benefits

Lemons are rich in vitamin C. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that helps protect cells from damage. Vitamin C is also important for skin health.

Cooking Methods

You can add lemon juice to just about any dish or recipe! It is also common to use the zest to add a stronger lemon flavor. Zest a lemon by washing the lemon first. Then using a zester or a grater, rub the lemon across in one direction. Stop once you hit the white part of the lemon. If the zest chunks are big, break them up.

Seasonings

Lemon pairs great with many herbs including basil, parsley, thyme, rosemary, and oregano. Lemon also pairs well with salt, olive oil, and honey for some sweetness.

Storage & Preservation

Lemons last longest in the refrigerator. Store the lemons whole. They can last up to 4 weeks this way.
