Grape Jam
Ingredients
- 3 lb grapes
- 4-6 cups sugar
- 3 tsp lemon juice
Directions
- Place grapes, sugar and lemon juice into a sauce pan or pot.
- On low heat dissolve the sugar slowly, stirring frequently.
- As the mixture heats up, break up some of the grapes with your wooden spoon or use a potato masher in order to release the grapes’ juices.
- Once all the sugar has dissolved fully (around 20 minutes), mash the grapes as much as possible.
- Bring to a boil for 25 minutes, stirring continuously.
- Add the jam to jars and seal the lid.
- Let the jar cool, then store in the fridge or freezer.
