Creamy Chicken Spinach Pasta
Ingredients
- 8 oz uncooked pasta
- 2 chicken breast or 2 cans of chicken drained
- 1 Tbsp butter and olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 Tbsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 cup whipping cream
- ⅓ cup chicken broth or water
- 5 oz spinach
- ½ cup parmesan cheese
Directions
- Boil water and cook the pasta as directed on the package.
- Cut the chicken into bite size pieces and season with salt and pepper.
- Add butter and oil to a pan over medium-high heat then add the chicken and cook through.
- Remove the cooked chicken from the pan and add chicken broth, garlic, and Italian seasoning. Return to heat and simmer for a few minutes. Add the heavy cream while continuing to simmer for a few more minutes.
- Add the chicken and spinach and let cook for 5 minutes. Then add the drained pasta and parmesan.
