How I got to the Food Bank
I got my bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering but wanted to pursue a career where I could help others. This led me to becoming a teacher, but after seeing I wasn’t cut out to be one, I decided to focus on the things I was good at/comfortable with: math, computers, and coding. I’m glad I was able to find a career here at the food bank that had those three aspects and let me pursue my original goal.

Everyone here is very welcoming and compassionate.

A typical Sunday for me is grabbing a good breakfast, watching something fun, and playing the video game I’m into at the time.
