How I got to the Food Bank

I came on board as the new Community Nutrition and Health Programs Manager. I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and also have a Master’s in Human Nutrition focused in community research; I’ve worked with community nutrition education programs for 7 years, doing things like teaching cooking and nutrition classes, measuring program impacts, and helping different settings make healthy changes. Making foods fun is my greatest passion, and am so excited to design programs and new outreach through the food bank!

What I love about the Food Bank

Everyone has such a positive attitude and is eager to help out

Favorite midnight snack

Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. In my house we freeze a bunch of dough so it is ready to go when the craving hits.
